Description of Service

HN Comment Insights is a Chrome extension that analyzes Hacker News comments using AI to provide summaries and insights.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining your own OpenAI API key
• You agree to use the extension in compliance with Hacker News terms of service
• You will not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the extension
• You will not use the extension for any illegal or harmful purposes

Service Availability

• We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
• The service depends on third-party APIs (OpenAI) which may have their own limitations
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with notice

Intellectual Property

• HN Comment Insights and its original content are owned by us
• You retain rights to any content you provide (API keys, feedback)
• Hacker News content remains the property of Y Combinator

Limitation of Liability

The extension is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the extension.

API Usage and Costs

• You are responsible for your own OpenAI API usage and costs
• We do not control or limit your API usage
• Monitor your API usage through your OpenAI dashboard

Termination

You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
